What about injuries?
We need healthy athletes to compete in track and field and cross country.
- Our goal is to ensure your athlete stays healthy and has a good season.
- However, should early signs of injury or an injury occur we can connect you with selected medical partners who are familiar with needs of the SMHS track and cross country athletes Below are 4 level s of injury prevention, diagnostic, and treatment you should follow:
Level 1 – SMHS Track and Cross Country Coaches
- Do your stretches, drills, and core work outs?
- Always let your coach know if you have any aches or pains?
They may suggest you go to Level 2 or 3
Level 2 – Massage Therapist
